25 Léman Students Honored During The Duke of Edinburgh International Bronze Award Ceremony

October 16, 2018

Léman hosted its first Bronze Ceremony as part of the International Award Duke of Edinburgh Program, where 25 students from Grades 9-12 were awarded this special honor. They received their medals and certificates for completing the six-month program, which included two overnight "Adventurous Journeys" totaling 25 miles of hiking. Awarding our students this significant honor were Head of School Ms. Castelluccio, Award Office Director Steve Funk and Award Program Organizers Mr. Gibson, Ms. Lenaghan and Mr. Taylor. Students were fortunate to hear remarks from Léman parent Jamie Lewin, who shared reflections on his own experience in the Duke of Edinburgh program.
