Tuition & Financial Aid

An independent school education is a significant investment. At Léman, the return is a best-in-class education that includes award-winning faculty who provide superior, personalized instruction to each student, unmatched facilities in the heart of downtown Manhattan, and a strong academic foundation that will prepare your child for admission to top-tier universities.

Our tuition includes all day-to-day student expenses including a nutritious lunch and snack program, educational supplies, books and athletic fees, and yellow bus service to and from school for students who qualify. Families are billed separately for overnight trips, after-school programs and summer camp. We offer a $2,000 sibling tuition credit for families with more than one child enrolled at Léman.

NEW FOR 2020-2021: Léman will offer private bus service from Brooklyn for students K and up for an additional fee starting next school year. Prospective families should contact to be added to the interest list.

Financial Aid

Léman Manhattan encourages families with demonstrated need to apply for financial assistance. Financial aid is not available for Léman Explorers, PreK 2, PreK 3, PreK 4, and boarding students.

Our school uses School and Student Services by NAIS (SSS) to process financial aid applications. SSS is a service of the National Association of Independent Schools. Based on the information you provide, SSS gives us an estimated amount your family can contribute to educational expenses, which helps us make fair and objective financial aid decisions.

The financial aid process is comprised of two steps:

Step 1 - Indicate on your child's application that you will be seeking assistance. See our How To Apply page to begin your application.

Step 2 - Complete the Parents' Financial Statement form on the SSS website by December 15, 2019. Léman Manhattan's SSS Code is 4242.

We're here to help.
