Outstanding Seniors Celebrated at the 8th Annual Senior Awards Ceremony

On Monday, May 20th, families, faculty, staff, and students gathered in the 1 Morris Street theater to celebrate the Class of 2024’s many accomplishments at the 8th Annual Léman Manhattan Senior Awards Ceremony. Each year, this event commemorates several outstanding seniors with awards that honor their achievements in the arts, sciences, the study of world languages, athletics, and more. Each award was presented by a member of the Upper School faculty, who lauded each recipient’s accomplishments on stage in a series of heartfelt speeches.

Beyond highlighting accomplishments in academics, four special awards are given each year to students who have impacted the Léman community through their consistent demonstrations of leadership, service, empathy, and school spirit: The Léman Faculty Award, The Bulls Pride Award, The Léman Leadership Award, and The Léman Head’s Award. Additionally, eight students were honored with the Léman Legacy Award, which commemorates graduates-to-be who have been at Léman in PreK or Kindergarten. Finally, and for the first time, the student elected by Léman’s faculty and staff to address students, families, and faculty at this year’s graduation was announced and celebrated.
