Congratulations to sixth grader Carter S., whose passion for basketball was recently celebrated in "The Brooklyn Daily Eagle." The article, which highlights a basketball program Carter has been a member of for several years, shines a light on his love for the sport, his strong work ethic, and his overall talent and skill.
The article frequently quotes Carter’s coach Mike Senior, who celebrates Carter’s talent, noting that he's a “special student athlete” who, despite having joined Coach Senior’s classes in recent years “[has] outworked everyone else.” Carter’s determination to succeed has not just been noticed within the Coach Senior’s program—the article also touts him as one of the top players at a recent basketball camp hosted by Nike at St. Joseph’s University.
