Meet Léman's New Library Info Tech Department Chair & Educational Technology Coordinator

As the Library Info Tech Department Chair & Educational Technology Coordinator, Daniel Cruz leads the development and implementation of Léman's strategic use of technology in the classroom from PreK to 12. He is a tech visionary who brings a wealth of knowledge to our school. Mr. Cruz collaborates with academic leadership and faculty to enhance student learning through technology and ensure all Léman students are equipped with relevant skills for their future success.

Mr. Cruz is a multi-lingual educator who has taught in England, Turkey, China, and the US. He has taught Digital Citizenship, Computer Literacy, Robotics, Podcasting, Python, Lego NXT, HTML, 3D design for architecture, and video production.

Mr. Cruz graduated from Universidad de America, Colombia, and then went on to complete an additional degree at Middlesex University in London. He is certified in Apple Computer Technology, Google, Lego Education and Raspberry Pi. Mr. Cruz is married and has two children. During his free time, he enjoys playing soccer, swimming, and traveling with his family.
