New Offerings in The Collegio Institute at Léman

February 06, 2026

The creation of Collegio Institute is one of many ways Léman is proactively responding to the rapidly changing landscape of college admissions and employment trends. This initiative helps live out our mission Each Student, Future Prepared and helps ensure our students build the knowledge and skills they need to thrive at Léman and beyond.

Léman’s first two Collegio Institute course offerings—AI Entrepreneur Fellowship and Life Design—were met with significant enthusiasm and interest from students and families. After a rigorous application process and thoughtful consideration of all applicants, we proudly welcomed accepted students into these classes in January. We look forward to sharing their progress and successes with you as the trimester continues.

Léman is now sharing new Collegio Institute offerings starting in Trimester 3 of this school year: Broadway Rising Artists Intensive and Foundations of Research and Inquiry.

Broadway Rising Artists Intensive

This is an educational and inspirational program for passionate musical theatre students in grades 8-12. Through a selective application and audition process, a small group of emerging performers will explore the artistry and excitement of Broadway from the inside out. Across multiple classes, students will train with Broadway artists in acting, singing, dancing/movement, improvisation, and audition techniques. Students will also attend a Broadway show and enjoy an exclusive event with Broadway performers.

Foundations of Research and Inquiry

Designed for intellectually curious students in grades 8-10, this 8-week course introduces young scholars to the world of scientific inquiry across a wide range of disciplines in both the natural sciences and the humanities.

Through engaging lectures from college professors and experts, students gain exposure to how researchers think, question, and explore emerging ideas in fields such as neuroscience, artificial intelligence, medical research, environmental science, and public health. As students move through the series, they are encouraged to reflect on which topics spark their interest and why—building a deeper awareness of the kinds of questions and fields that resonate with them. In the final sessions, students receive guided support in identifying potential areas of future research and considering how their emerging interests might grow over time.

By broadening students’ understanding of what research looks like across disciplines, this program offers a meaningful early step—an optional but valuable springboard—toward eventual participation in Léman’s Science Research Program.

Léman students are building invaluable experiences and skills through Collegio Institute. This is an incredibly exciting time for Léman as we pave the way for extraordinary innovation in K-12 education.
