On Friday, May 24th, Léman honored the Class of 2024, the school's 12th graduating class.
During the graduation ceremony in the Broad Street Ballroom, proud students, families, and faculty celebrated the accomplishments of our 83 talented graduates.
Once the new graduates and members of the faculty and staff processed into the ballroom, the ceremony began with welcoming remarks from Head of High School Dr. Harry Leonardators and Head of School Maria Castelluccio. Afterwards, guests were treated to a special musical performance by Ashley Chiang, which was followed by a few words from Student Body President and Léman Legacy Award recipient, Mika Halperin, who introduced this year’s Faculty Speaker, Upper School Learning Specialist Paschell Sutton. Throughout her speech, Ms. Sutton spoke about the importance of remaining adaptable and open to change and encouraged graduates to remain kind, follow their dreams, and work towards a more inclusive future. Ms. Sutton’s touching words were preceded by equally heartfelt remarks made by Student Speaker Colin Grant, who reminisced on the memories the Class of 2024 made together.
After each new graduate walked across the Commencement stage to receive their diploma, the festivities continued at a special family reception in the 1 Morris Street cafe.
