Sending Cards to Patients at the Cohen Children’s Medical Center
In Upper School advisory, students were introduced to a special Mitzvah project: creating cards for patients at the Cohen Children’s Medical Center. Before they got started with writing their letters, students were introduced to the definition of “a Mitzvah,” which in modern usage can be defined as a “good deed.” Through the sending of each card, it is the hope that recipients will feel encouraged and uplifted during a very trying time of their lives.
Posters Celebrating Jewish Excellence
If you walked around either campus in May, you may have noticed posters decorating the walls that highlight various notable people in Jewish history and culture. These posters celebrated influential Jewish figures in activism, entertainment and culture, STEAM, politics, sports, and more to educate and inspire our community.
