NYC Kids Project Teaches Diversity and Inclusion

Lower School students welcomed the NYC Kids Project, an arts-based organization providing educational programs to students about diversity and inclusion, into classrooms last week. First and second graders were introduced to puppet friends with a range of learning and physical differences m through performance, sign language, and storytelling. These performances initiated dialogue with classmates examining their own perceptions and attitudes about what makes each person unique.
