Upper School Students Display Creativity at Spring Visual Art Show
May 24, 2019
Our robust Fine Arts program includes a focus on visual arts, where students have the opportunity to work in a variety of mediums and styles. On Tuesday, May 14, members of the community were invited to celebrate our Upper School visual art students at a reception in the Morris Art Gallery. This year's show highlights art as a powerful tool for communication. The universal language that art carries not only transcends the limitations of spoken language but also amplifies the deepest stories, opinions and thoughts that were once kept silent. The show included works in various mediums including fashion, sculpture and printmaking, as well as digital photography, Léman's newest visual arts elective. Congratulations to these students on their hard work and impressive creative output!
