Léman is open for the 2020-21 school year, offering in-person, hybrid and fully online instruction. We invite prospective families to learn about Léman through a Virtual Admissions Tour. While the Admissions Priority Deadline of Dec 1 for Kindergarten, 6th and 9th grade has passed, Léman continues to accept applications on a rolling basis. About Dr. Derrick Gay
Dr. Derrick Gay is an internationally recognized consultant to educational, artistic and philanthropic organizations on issues of diversity, inclusion and global citizenship. He collaborates with education thought leaders to foster empathy, enrich inclusion and cultivate cultural competency. Dr. Gay served as a senior administrator at the Nightingale-Bamford School (NY), was a faculty member at the Groton School (MA), Wilmington Friends (DE) and The Masters School (NY), and was dean of students at L'Academie de Paris in Paris, France. He is a graduate of Oberlin College, Columbia University, and the University of Pennsylvania where his research explored how social identity mediates the academic and social experience of students in school.
