Léman Robotics Club Competes in FIRST Tech Challenge

The Léman Robotics Club has been hard at work building and programming since the announcement of this year's FIRST Tech Challenge Rover Ruckus game in early September. The club was established by 12th graders Griffin Addison Picciani and QiHan Zhao last year to explore their shared interests in robotics. Joined by 11th grader Shouyi Li, these three students created an originally designed, fully functional robot to enter into this competition for New York City students from 7th through 12th grade. At their first qualifier meet, the judges recognized them with two awards, including one for their unique, effective robot design, and one for a finalist spot in the competition. They are currently preparing for their next qualifier meet which takes place at Horace Mann High School on January 27. Good luck to these hard-working students!
