Léman Community Gives Back to City Harvest

Each month, our students embrace a philosophy of giving by engaging in meaningful service work in support of a specific organization. This November, Léman supported City Harvest, New York's largest food-rescue program. Students and community members across the entire school donated their time and efforts towards supporting their organization, which feeds over 1.2 New Yorkers in need each year. Upper School students collected $1,307.36, which was used to purchase 1,000 lbs. of food. Lower School collected $440, which was used to supply the food for snack packs, which were decorated and packed by their peers in Lower School and Early Childhood. This morning, City Harvest picked up Léman's donations to deliver to local soup kitchens and food pantries.
