The Office of College Counseling is busy helping Léman families with the college application process. Léman will be welcoming more than 100 colleges and universities to our campus this year. College Representatives will learn more about the IB program at Léman, and meet with individual students to discuss their aspirations and leadership activities.
Following are just some of the universities scheduled to visit Léman this Fall: Babson College, Franklin & Marshall College, Haverford College, Oberlin College, Rhode Island School of Design, Skidmore College, The George Washington University, Trinity College in Dublin, University of Chicago, University of St. Andrews, Vanderbilt University, and Washington University in St. Louis.
Léman is excited to announce that Allie Clarkhas been named College Counseling Coordinator. Ms. Clark comes to us from Notre Dame School and Success Academy (NYC) with excellent experience supporting her students in achieving their goals through the college application process. Ms. Clark will collaborate with our other two dedicated college counselors, Lindsay Barcham and James Luciano, to spearhead college counseling initiatives.
In addition to working directly with students, Ms. Clark will also be responsible for overseeing all of the principle functions of the college counseling office, such as coordinating communication with families and students through meetings, coffees and our advisory program, forging connections with an ever-growing range of colleges and universities in the USA and abroad, expanding options for standardized test preparation, and overseeing the implementation of in-house testing such as the PSAT for grades 10 and 11.
