Lower School Students Explore Egg Hatching Study

Our Lower School scientists explored the process of chick development through a hands-on science unit. At five days of incubation, the eggs were ready to be checked for signs of life. Fifth-grade students carefully examined the eggs and were excited to observe developing blood vessels and tiny black eye spots. This experience gave students a firsthand look at the early stages of growth and development while bringing their life science lessons to life.
