Congratulations to the Léman Class of 2020!

June 15, 2020

On Saturday, May 30, the Léman Class of 2020 was honored in a virtual graduation ceremony that was streamed online. The ceremony included a faculty address by IB English and Theory of Knowledge teacher Chris Winchester and a student address by Greta Menteshashvili '20, who both spoke about their individual journeys to Léman and what they learned from being a part of our diverse community. The ceremony also featured a special guest performance by Broadway actress and singer Lisa Howard who sang "I Hope You Dance," an optimistic song about taking chances and not being afraid to try something new, an important message for our graduates who are moving on to a new adventure at college in the fall. For the first time at the graduation ceremony, thirteen graduates were honored as Léman Manhattan Legacy students for being a part of the Léman Manhattan community in Lower School, Middle School and High School. You can view the entire ceremony on YouTube here.
