Léman Students Enjoy a "Spooktacular" Halloween

November 5, 2018

The Halloween spirit was felt throughout the halls of both Léman campuses this week, as students, teachers, and community members celebrated with costumes, parades, parties, and activities.

On Saturday, October 27, members of the Léman community as well as prospective families and our friends in the community had a blast at our sold-out 4th annual Halloween Bash in the Broad Street Ballroom. Princesses, monsters, book characters, and superheroes had a ball with special Halloween activities and crafts, a magic show, and a live music performance by our friend Suzi Shelton.

On Halloween day, Early Childhood and Lower School students began their morning with assemblies where they listened to Halloween stories, sang and danced to Halloween-themed songs, and showed off their creative costumes to their friends. Upper School students came to school in costume as part of the annual Upper School Spirit Week, which also included Grade Color Day and International Day, and continues next week with Cancer Awareness Day when everyone is encouraged to wear pink.
