Léman Student IB Pass Rate Outperforms Peers by Nearly 30%
October 9, 2018
We are thrilled to report that the Léman Class of 2018 achieved an outstanding 86% pass rate on IB Exams this summer. This exceeds the average pass rate for IB students in the Americas region of 67% by nearly 30%. The Class of 2018 represents Léman's sixth graduating class and third cohort of IB Diploma Students. The Léman student IB pass rate has consistently increased each year, and we are predicting even stronger results for the Class of 2019.
The IB Diploma is recognized nationally and internationally by top colleges and universities as the most rigorous and in-depth college preparatory program in the world. IB Diploma students are more than 20% more likely to be admitted to the most prestigious universities in the U.S., including Harvard, Yale, Princeton, Columbia, Duke and Stanford. Many students earn college credit for the IB and report being better able than their peers to cope with demanding workloads, time management requirements, and high expectations of a selective university.
The IB approaches to teaching and learning are integrated throughout Léman's academic program starting in The Center for Early Childhood Education and culminate with the IB Diploma Programme in 11th and 12th grade.
Congratulations to the Class of 2018 on this tremendous achievement!
