Growing Adventurous Eaters in Early Childhood

Our Early Childhood program builds the foundation for academic success, as well as fosters strong social connections among students. Sharing meals together is an important aspect of our youngest learners socialization and also helps to build their curiosity for new foods.

Early Childhood are offered plated meals in a family style setting for a comforting, close to home experience. The children are also taught the importance of clean up and working together. It is in these routines that they build independence and learn responsibility.

This year we are delighted to welcome Chef Rosemarie Oliveri-Copeland to Léman as our Jr. Sous Chef and Early Childhood Food Specialist. Her role is to help our youngest learners to understand the different foods and cultures of the world. Rosemarie's culinary path began at The International Culinary Center in Manhattan. She continued her schooling in Italy, honing her skills under the guidance of top European chefs. Chef Rosey lives with her husband and two sons, Stephen (4 years old) and Maximiliano (11 months old). She brings with her to Léman the same pride and love she puts into feeding her own boys. Welcome Chef Rosey!
