The Center for Early Childhood Education After-School
Students in PreK 3 through Kindergarten have the option to attend after-school classes Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 5:45pm. This engaging, developmentally appropriate after-school program has been designed to meet the learning needs of children ages 3 to 6 and respond to working parents seeking after-school programming. Each day is comprised of a specialty class, rooftop playground time (weather permitting) or movement indoors, classroom choice time, and a snack.
The 2018 Winter/Spring activities, which start January 29, 2018, are Move to the Music, Children's Chess, Le Petit École-French, PopFit Kids, and Story Time Art. For more information, please contact Kate Sylvain, Head of the Center for Early Childhood Education.
We offer a wide range of outstanding after-school enrichment courses to students in Kindergarten-5th grade through Léman Plus. Fall activities are as diversified as swimming and sports, coding and chess, woodworking and sewing. The 2017-2018 fall classes run until January 26, 2018. Now is the time to enroll for Spring Léman Plus classes, which begin on January 29, 2018 and run until June 8, 2018. Spring highlights include the addition of sports offerings in the Broad Street Gym including basketball, soccer, and a new class combining flag football, dodgeball and gaga (a popular gym game to the uninitiated!). Many other popular classes will return including Jemz art classes, chess, Drone Genius, cooking, and much more.
Registration for Spring 2018 is now open and you can enroll using our online form. Note that all classes have limited space. Please contact Steve Levin, Director of After-School and Summer Programs, with any questions or for more information.
